to xbox 360 users problems, getting, scratch

well i'm thinking of getting a 360  but my girl says i shouldn't get it cause it malfunction alot ...it freezes,overheat and all that..i just want to know how many of you xbox 360 users experiance problems with your console

my console is fine, but it fucked up my gears ones, dodgey scratch, not the circle one, it more or less cracked the disc

other than that it's all good

had it for like 10 months

I suggest wait until november...the falcon models(big improvement, same skus though) should be on shelves, if they are not already.

I pressed NO but YES, mine broke.

My brother bought his a couple months after launch, and it's still working great. Although just to be safe, I'd wait a couple months.

I have had mine for a year now, no issues at all except a Live issue but thats my internet connection.   Everything runs fine and the games kickarse.

thank you cuase i really want the new games thats coming out like ninja gaiden 2 and halo 3..but it seems like theres not much to worry about

Exactly. If it breaks, by the time you can't get a new one absolutely free, you'll want the Xbox 720 anyway.

Also, by all reports the Elite (the black, re-engineered, +$100 one) is very reliable, with new cooling fans to prevent the overheat problems that the first generation had.

And no, cmtf, it wasn't 50% or whatever absurd number you said. Although last time I argued with you, I said that none of the 360s I've seen have broken, only 2 days after that my best friend's ring-of-death'd on him.
But that's still one out of seven, and it was under warranty, and he'll have a new (fixed?) one next week.
